SAPFire Analysis Engine
SAFE CSI solvers have been tried and tested by the industry for over 45 years. Several 64-bit solvers can be serviced by the SAPFire Analysis Engine for analysis optimization and for eigen analysis and Ritz analysis. Parallel methods are provided to utilize multiple processors.
SAFE gives a unified interface to perform modeling, analysis, design and reporting. A new model explorer can be easily visited to objects, properties and forms.

Foundations, Basemats and Footings
SAFE is suitable for modeling footings, basemats, and foundations. Model soil supports and zero tension models are easily handled with uplift analysis. Assignment of soil support areas is from the subgrade modulus, and soil supports automatically update whenever the mesh is modified. Basemat foundation models can be employed to model columns, walls, beams, piles, and pedestals as well as the foundation area.

Design Strips
SAFE Design strips are used to define how the reinforcement requirements are to be calculated. SAFE will automatically do that for you, or you can do it yourself.

Post-Tensioning (P/T)
SAFE includes the ability to define post-tensioning within slabs as banded, or distributed tendons. The interactive tendon editor provides a simple means of designing tendon profiles. Tendon layouts can even be automatically created with regard to strip position and direction.
