CSI ETABS Ultimate

The revolutionary and innovative new ETABS is the ultimate integrated computer package for building structural analysis and design. With 40 years of unbroken research and development, the new ETABS offers unmatched 3D object-based modeling and visualization power, blazing-fast linear and nonlinear analysis power, advanced and detailed design power for wide ranges of materials, intelligent graphic displays, reports, and schematic drawings that allow users to easily and quickly interpret and understand analysis and design outputs.

From design conception to schematic drawing production, ETABS covers the entire process of the engineering design cycle. Model generation is never easier – intuitive drawing commands allow for rapid floor and elevation framing generation. Direct importation of CAD drawings as ETABS models or as templates upon which ETABS objects may be overlaid is feasible. The advanced SAPFire 64-bit solver allows extremely large and complex models to be rapidly analyzed, and supports nonlinear modeling techniques such as construction sequencing and time effects (e.g., creep and shrinkage).

Steel and concrete frame design (with optimization automatically performed), composite beams, composite columns, steel joists, and concrete and masonry shear walls are included, as is the capacity check of steel connections and base plates. Models may be realistically shown, and all results may be displayed directly on the structure. In-depth and dynamic reports for all design and analysis output are available, and schematic building drawings of framing plans, schedules, details, and cross-sections may be generated for concrete and steel structures.

ETABS provides an unmatched array of tools for building design engineers whether they are constructing one-story industrial structures or the tallest commercial skyscrapers. Extremely powerful, yet easy to use, has been the hallmark of ETABS since its initial release decades ago, and this new release is certain to continue in that tradition in that it provides engineers with the technologically-advanced, yet easy to use, software that they require to be at their most efficient.
